The Sống Xanh Charity Fair – Eco Xmas Fair 2022
A Christmas fair at Capital House's apartment complexes raised more than VND 178 million to build a satellite school for highland children.
On 17–18 December 2022, Eco Xmas Fair 2022 – the Sống Xanh Charity Fair 2022 took place at 5 apartment complexes developed by Capital House Group, with the aim of raising funds for the Fund’s programme to build schools for highland children.
Pupils and teachers from the GCA education system ran stalls of handicrafts and recycled items and put on performances – all to “support the Green Life Charity Fund’s appeal to build schools for highland children”.
From the fair to the Phi Giàng 2 satellite school
The fair raised more than VND 178 million, of which the GCA community of parents, pupils and teachers contributed nearly VND 83 million. All of the money went towards building the Phi Giàng 2 village satellite school in Tủa Chùa, Điện Biên, where construction began in February 2023.
Christmas fairs to raise funds for building schools have been held since 2018, when residents raised money together for Huổi Đá primary school in Điện Biên.
