Ten years, one intention: planting green seeds for the community

What began as an internal fund built on voluntary contributions from Capital House Group staff is now the Green Life Charity Fund, a charity licensed by the Ministry of Home Affairs to operate nationwide.

Scholarships and schools

Scholarships for students from poor families in Bình Định since 2016. Every year the Sống Xanh Charity Fair raises money to build a school for highland children — six schools so far, worth more than VND 1 billion in total.

Children’s health

Every year the Fund returns to the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital: helping with hospital fees and meals, Mid-Autumn gifts, wall murals and electric syringe pumps for its wards.

Community and disaster relief

Relief after the 2020 floods in central Vietnam and Typhoon Yagi in 2024, a free vegetarian kitchen, and a shelter for orphaned children. Emergency relief donations are passed on in full, 100%, as soon as they are received.

Our journey

From the Từ Bi Tâm Fund in 2016 to a charity working across Vietnam.

  1. 2016

    The Từ Bi Tâm Fund is born

    Capital House Group sets up an internal fund from voluntary contributions by its member companies and staff. In August 2016 it awards its first 40 scholarships in Phù Mỹ, Bình Định.

  2. 2019

    A school built from a Christmas fair

    Money raised by residents at the Eco Christmas fair, topped up by the Fund, builds Huổi Đá primary school in the border commune of Nậm Kè, Mường Nhé, Điện Biên.

  3. 2020

    Standing with central Vietnam

    Nearly VND 300 million in medical equipment, school supplies and seed rice for three districts of Quảng Bình after historic floods.

  4. 2021

    Becoming the Green Life Charity Fund

    On 24 November 2021 the Ministry of Home Affairs grants the establishment licence and approves the charter under Decision No. 1207/QĐ-BNV. The Fund becomes a legal entity operating nationwide.

  5. 2023

    Three-year scholarships and Phi Giàng 2

    Construction starts on the Phi Giàng 2 satellite school (Điện Biên), funded by the Sống Xanh Charity Fair; a scholarship programme covering all three years of high school begins in Tây Sơn, Bình Định.

  6. 2024

    A sixth school and Typhoon Yagi relief

    Ground is broken at the Vàng Doọc satellite school (Bắc Kạn), the sixth school the Fund has helped build; with the Genesis community, VND 400 million goes to schools in Lào Cai and Yên Bái after Typhoon Yagi.

  7. 2025

    Still beside children in hospital

    An electric syringe pump and gifts for young patients at the Neurology Centre, Vietnam National Children’s Hospital.

What is the Green Life Charity Fund?

A non-profit charity fund licensed by Vietnam’s Ministry of Home Affairs under Decision No. 1207/QĐ-BNV of 24 November 2021, operating nationwide. It grew out of the Từ Bi Tâm Fund, set up by Capital House Group in 2016.

Can I donate through this website?

No. This website only publishes information and news about the Fund’s work; it does not accept donations or bank transfers. If any website or social media account asks you to send money in the Fund’s name, please contact the Fund’s head office to verify it first.

Who does the Fund support?

Vietnamese citizens facing hardship; children with serious illnesses or who have lost their parents and need help to study and take part in community life; and families and communities hit by natural disasters, fire, accidents or epidemics (Article 18 of the Fund’s charter).

How does the Fund report on its finances?

The Fund publishes lists of contributions and of beneficiaries, and its quarterly and annual financial reports. Management costs may not exceed 5% of annual income. Reports are published on the Transparency page.
