Spring Sharing 2017 for children in Hải Phòng and Bắc Giang
Tết gifts for young patients at Hải Phòng Children's Hospital, support for three children awaiting heart surgery, and for children with disabilities in Sơn Động district.
On 24 January 2017, the programme “Từ Bi Tâm – Capital House Sharing Love, Spring 2017” brought Tết (Lunar New Year) to children in difficult circumstances in Hải Phòng and Bắc Giang.
Hải Phòng Children’s Hospital
Working with the hospital’s Social Work Office, the Fund presented 50 gift packs, each worth VND 700,000, to young patients in difficult circumstances, and provided VND 5 million to each of 3 children awaiting heart surgery.
Children with disabilities in Sơn Động
In Sơn Động district, Bắc Giang — home to around 300 children with disabilities under the age of 16 — the Fund presented 36 gift packs (VND 700,000 each) and supported 4 families with VND 1 million each.
On this occasion, the Fund also visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyễn Thị Bỏng and families in difficult circumstances at Ecohome 1.
