Charity month 2015 at the Vietnam National Children's Hospital
An electric syringe pump for the Intensive Care Unit, gifts for children in hardship and more than 200 free meals – the activity that began Capital House's charity journey.
On the morning of 25 July 2015, Capital House staff visited the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, giving gifts and free meals to young patients and their families – the first activity of the company’s charity month.
Capital House presented 1 electric syringe pump to the Intensive Care Unit, gave 20 gift packs to young patients in especially difficult circumstances and handed out more than 200 free meals. Over the whole charity month, the company planned to give dozens of gift packs and nearly 1,000 meals, with a total value of over VND 100 million.
“As a mother myself, who has looked after a sick child and spent time in hospital, I understand very well how hard things are in here. I hope that with the company’s support, working alongside the doctors and nurses, the children and their families can have some of their burden eased.”
— Ms Ngô Thị Thúy Kiều, HR Director of Capital House
Dr Tạ Minh Tuấn, Head of the Intensive Care Unit, thanked the company on behalf of the hospital’s Board of Directors.
Ten years on, visits and equipment donations to the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital continue every year – now through the Green Life Charity Fund (Sống Xanh).
