Capital House stands with residents and local communities through Covid-19
10 tonnes of rice for Ecohome residents, more than 1 tonne of rice for Đông Ngạc ward, VND 100 million for Đà Nẵng and 1,000 boxes of medicine worth VND 550 million for Đắk Lắk.
During the 2021 Covid-19 outbreak, Capital House Group and its member companies carried out a range of activities to support residents and local communities.
Ecohome residents under quarantine
From 23 July 2021, during the medical quarantine at the Ecohome 1 (14 days) and Ecohome 2 (25 days) apartment buildings, the Group sent 10 tonnes of rice to Ecohome 2 residents and nearly 500 kg of rice to Ecohome 1 residents – 10 kg per apartment. F0 and F1 cases who had to go into centralised quarantine received VND 1 million each. The building management did residents’ shopping and delivered food and essentials to each apartment; Ecohome 1 opened a “zero-đồng market” giving out free fruit and vegetables.
Hà Nội and Đà Nẵng
On 26 August 2021, Mr Trần Công Tưởng, representing the Group, and Mr Trần Hải Long, representing Ecolife Property Management JSC, presented more than 1,000 kg of rice to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Đông Ngạc ward to support residents in hardship and frontline workers. At the same time, the Group donated VND 100 million to the Covid-19 Prevention Fund of Liên Chiểu district, Đà Nẵng.
Đắk Lắk
On the afternoon of 13 December 2021, Đắk Lắk Urban Development Investment Co., Ltd – a member of the Group and the developer of the EcoCity Premia project – presented 1,000 boxes of medicine to support Covid-19 treatment, worth VND 550 million, to the Đắk Lắk Provincial Department of Health for treating F0 patients. Earlier, in July 2021, the company had donated VND 100 million in cash to the province.
From the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2021, the Group spent more than VND 2 billion in total on Covid-19 prevention and control and on supporting local people.
